Joshua ApteI am an assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

I conduct research at the intersection of air quality engineering and public health, emphasizing techniques for measuring, modeling and reducing human exposure to particulate matter (PM). I am especially interested in these issues as they pertain to low-income cities and countries.

I am currently recruiting motivated doctoral students to join our growing research group at UT-Austin.
